- I'm an optimistic scientist who is very aware that life is too short. I love everything about my life (other than the size of my paycheck, lol) and am extremely fortunate for the wonderful relationships I have (friends, family, dogs, and best boyfriend ever). I thought this blog would be a great way for peeps to see what goes on in my head on a regular basis. :O)

Holy crap that movie looks intense (and awesome)! I can see that you are a zombie movie connoisseur. How did you like Zombieland? I just saw it this weekend and the rest of sunday I kept imagining zombies around every corner...
I thought Zombieland was consistently funny, but not fall out of your seat funny. I absolutely love Bill Murray and Woody Harrelson, but this movie was nothing compared to Shaun of the Dead. If you haven't seen that flick, you totally have to rent it b/c Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Edgar Wright are geniuses. On that note, Spaced is one of the best TV shows ever written and I highly recommend that one as well.
I LOVE Shaun of the Dead! Sooooo funny. And before I saw it I really didn't believe that movies that were scary could also be hilarious.
I haven't seen or heard of Spaced though. I will have to check it out!
