Weinberg Weekend

My good man Aaron graced us with his presence this past weekend, all the way from Iowa. In typical Aaron-Tucson-visit fashion, we ate much junk food, played lots of video games, and bought a delicious cake from La Baguette bakery (attached to Ghini's French Cafe). There's a pic above of the delicious flour-less hazelnut cake with chocolate ganache. We also saw Pirate Radio which was pleasantly funny and featured an of course awesome soundtrack. A-dog's weekend visits are always a lot of fun and I'm hoping The Boyfriend and I will be in a fresh new place when Aaron comes to visit again next year.

In other news, I had a fire lit under my ass to complete my CV with a quickness. I actually finished yesterday and was really happy and satisfied with the outcome. I would feel pretty confident in handing it over to someone I was begging to hire me. Christmas cards as well as holiday plane tickets have been purchased. Cards were the el cheapo ones, but I like the batch I picked out and the money I saved. We were super lucky with the plane ticket purchase and are able to evenly split the holiday between our families for a reasonable fee. I'm starting to get more jazzed about Christmas, although I don't think I'll be feeling the full effects until the day after Thanksgiving when M-dog comes over to help me decorate the tree and my house with lights. Thanksgiving and house decorating pics to follow in the coming week...
