In honor of the unveiling of the 2009 Ikea furniture catalogue, I'm posting the link to the Ikea Furniture Name Generator (featured at Blogadilla.com). I haven't actually gone through the catalogue yet, but I hear this year's focus is mostly black and white with a hint of bright yellow. Personally, black and white are a color combo I tend to stay away from because they're too cold. Technically black is supposed to be a warm color and white a cool color, but the contrast is what feels cold to me. Bright yellow is the only plus working for Ikea this year. I'll wait until I have some time this coming weekend to pour over the new catalogue. For the next couple of days I'm finishing up arranging the house because The Boyfriend's parents are coming into town Thursday morning. I'll keep you updated on those hijinks. I happen to like black and white. Well, mostly black. And dark blues and reds. Okay, dark colors. You bright people are the reason I wanted to become a lawyer and help suck the happiness out of the world.
